Relaxation is Key

Did you know that April is Stress Awareness Month? In the coming weeks, we invite you to pay particular attention to keeping calm and staying relaxed. Feeling relaxed benefits both your mental and physical well-being. People who are relaxed experience better heart health, lower risk of stroke, improvement in memory, reduced blood pressure, and so much more.

If you’re ready to make relaxation a priority, we encourage you to set aside set five minutes each day to allow yourself time just be. No TV, no radio, not even a book or a magazine. You should also resist the urge to do chores. Don’t feel guilty—it is a productive use of time that is vital to your overall relaxation.
