Associate Feature – Willow Drinkwater
It was 1993 when Willow Drinkwater decided to make the jump from Real Estate Agent to Wellness Entrepreneur. 28 years later, she is still going strong.
A few short weeks before Willow was due to board a plane to visit her daughter in Thailand, Willow was sitting in her office eating her lunch, which consisted of crackers and a Diet Coke. Her lunch was interrupted when a friend stopped by for a visit.
“He didn’t approve of my lunch choice,” Willow recalled. “He told me I shouldn’t be eating that ‘junk’ because it would kill me.” He didn’t stop by to scrutinize Willow’s choice of lunch though. Instead, he was actually there to introduce her to someone.
“He brought a woman with him who had a book about New Earth products,” Willow shared. “And the two of them shared their vision of making money and giving back to those in need.” That conversation was all the motivation that Willow needed to join the New Earth community.
Leading up to her trip, Willow began taking Essentials every day, and she made sure to pack them before she boarded her flight to Thailand. And she is glad she did. As Willow tells it, “When I arrived I felt little to no jet lag, and I felt happier than I ever had.” To top it off, her daughter was impressed that Willow was able to eat the street food in Thailand without getting sick. In fact, it was so impressive that Willow’s daughter decided to start her own journey with New Earth when she returned to the United States.
Now, 28 years after first being introduced to New Earth, Willow doesn’t go a day without her supplements, especially Essentials. “Essentials speak to my whole well-being,” Willow stated. “When I take them, I notice I have more energy, more mental clarity, and a stronger sense of overall well-being.”
When it comes to being a Wellness Entrepreneur, Willow loves that she has had the opportunity to forge friendships with so many people as well as visit a variety of places. “I’ve been able to visit Costa Rica, Klamath Falls, Minnesota, Portland, and Florida because of my business,” Willow shared. “And our team, which we call Team Together, as met virtually every week for over 10 years now. It is the partnership that we have formed that keeps us all going.” And when you combine all that with the opportunity to help others and a culture built around integrity and the desire to honor our planet, it really is a dream come true for Willow.
In closing, Willow had some words of encouragement to share with those who are starting their own New Earth journey. “You can’t go wrong,” she said. “You will be as successful as you decide you want to be in this business. There’s no pressure to perform, except by your own integrity and living your purpose.”
